Posting this for my own records. The podcast that I’m reading P&P along with (Hot and Bothered, Live from Pemberley) is reading slow. Like a chapter a week. I have ample time to read, to listen, to reread, to think, and to listen again.
So I flipped over to another podcast that I periodically listen to, and lo and behold, they did a brief look at P&P too! So while I ponder, meditate, ruminate on the one true text (that is definitely a joke!), I’m going to explore some of their “pairings”.
The podcast is Novel Pairings, and the title is descriptive– they talk about classic novels, then pair them with more contemporary works. These are a bunch of P&P pastiches or retellings, many of which I’ve read, but several I haven’t!
